Famille liée Group is a support group that includes animal-assisted therapy for military and veteran families affected by operational stress injuries (OSI).
Over six meetings, it combines individual support, parent‑child activities, and family sharing opportunities.
More specifically, this group will help you better understand OSI and foster a positive family dynamic by working on:
- Emotion management
- Non-verbal communication
- Teamwork
- Mental health continuum.
These learning initiatives will be made possible through animal-assisted therapy provided by Zoothérapie Mamma Mia, as well as collaboration between OSSIS and the Bagotville MFRC.The balance between theory, fun and personal experiences will be maintained at each meeting.
Program Objectives

- Strengthening of family ties
For whom are these meetings intended?
- Children aged 8 to 17 living with one of the parents living with an OSI.
- The spouse of an OSI person.
- OSI veterans or military members.
Meeting schedule
Meetings will be offered according to the following schedule:
- Week of October 5–9, 2026—Individual meeting
- October 15—6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- October 29—from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- November 5—6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- November 19—6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- November 28 (Saturday), final activity—starting at 11 a.m.
Location
The meetings will take place at Zoothérapie Mamma Mia in Jonquière, and the final activity will be held at the MFRC.
