As part of its operations, the Bagotville MFRC is seeking a program manager to coordinate, develop, and improve all programs and services. Through close collaboration with executive management, the person in this position ensures that military families receive quality, consistent and impactful services.

  • Provide functional and operational supervision to program and service coordinators to support their work and foster teamwork.
  • Assist the team in planning, organizing and executing activities, interventions, and projects for the military community.
  • Ensure integration and consistency across the programs to guarantee a service offering aligned with the MFRC’s mission and priorities.
  • Supervise data collection, record-keeping, and the use of databases related to programs and services.
  • Participate in grant-seeking efforts and assist with accountability reporting to funders.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the resources, programs and services being offered to military families, both within the chain of command and through Military Family Services.
  • Assist in the coordination of the team’s needs for continuing education and contribute to the development of organizational skills.
  • Work with the executive director and the financial manager to manage and monitor program budgets.

What we are seeking

  • A degree in human resources, administration, operations management, or a related field is required.
  • An experience of three years in managing or coordinating a program is required.
  • Experience in managing and mobilizing teams.
  • Community or psychosocial work experience (an asset).
  • Having a thorough understanding of the military environment and the realities faced by military families (an asset).
  • A veteran’s application will be taken into consideration. The experience acquired within the Canadian Armed Forces, combined with training in operations management, leadership, personnel management, and project management, may be deemed equivalent to certain training or experience requirements (an asset).
  • Microsoft Office 365 suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint) proficiency.
  • A valid Quebec driving license is required.
  • Communication skills in French and English, both verbally and in writing.

  • Full-time, permanent position, 32 to 35 hours per week.
  • Providing flexible hours in order to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
  • A $33.38/hour salary increased by $5.50/hour after three months.
