A Kiss Goodbye | Story for 2–7-Year-Olds

Moving can be a difficult or stressful experience for everyone, especially for young children!

The story A Kiss Goodbye, written by Audrey Penn, illustrated by Barbara Leonard Gibson and published by Scholastic, tells the story of Chester, the raccoon, who has to move with his family.

Told in the gentle and soothing voice of Ms. Mélissa Régnier, the story “A Kiss Goodbye” is meant to comfort children who feel sad or upset about having to move. In addition to helping them express their feelings and accept the situation, the story offers them strategies to navigate the move more peacefully.

A story to read, watch or listen to!
